Hi, my name is Rob Tavis. I want to welcome you to U.S. Insurance Solutions, and thank you for taking time to learn how you can take control of your own healthcare and save significant money on your insurance premiums, medical expenses and taxes!
Who are you working with…
Since my business is mostly “virtual” these days, I want to tell you a little about me, both in and out of work, because I want you to feel comfortable working with me.
I started in the insurance business in 1990 working primarily with the self-employed and small businesses on their health insurance and other employee benefits. I built my business on two main principles. One was to strive to know the market better than any of my competition, and make sure that I had ALL the available product options so my clients could find the one that best met their needs. The other was to provide the BEST possible customer service. My clients knew that from the owner down to the lowest employee, if they had a problem, they came to me first!
Over the last 30 years that I have been involved, the health insurance industry has changed dramatically, and while I have also changed my focus to individuals, families and self-employed people who don’t have the luxury of employer provided health insurance, what hasn’t changed is my commitment to those same original principles – Know ALL of the options in your market, and be there to help you year round with everything related to your health plan.
As your Personal Advisor it is my goal to work with you to determine what you want in a health plan, and make sure that you get the best possible coverage at the lowest possible price. Once your plan is in place, I will be your first and only point of contact for any/all issues and questions that you may have. Then, each year I will review the market again and work with you to ensure that you continue to have the best coverage year after year.
You never know what can happen…
Not long after I started in the insurance business I met a wonderful woman named Dawn who changed my life forever! She became my wife and blessed me with two awesome daughters, Sydney and Maddy.
Unfortunately, I learned firsthand about the value and importance of the insurance products that I offer in my business. In 2002 Dawn was diagnosed with breast cancer. She battled the disease for 7 years before passing away in late 2009. If we hadn’t had excellent health insurance and gotten as much life insurance on her as possible, I most likely would not have been able to stay self-employed and may not have been able to keep our house.
As a result of what happened with Dawn, I believe more strongly than ever in what I do! Bad things happen all of the time, and emotionally they can be extremely challenging. However, the right “protection” can keep them from becoming financially devastating as well!
Fast forward a few years…I have been blessed once again to meet an amazing woman named Maureen. She also lost her fiancé to cancer. We both believe that the loved ones we lost had a hand in bringing us together, and we are looking forward to our future together!
There is more to life…
While I do love what I do here at U.S. Insurance Solutions, if you ask anyone that knows me they will tell you that I believe that there is MUCH more to life than work!
