About Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Utah Health Insurance Plans
Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Plan of Utah (aka Regence) is part of the Cambia Health Solutions family of companies. Regence offers health and dental coverage to around 700,000 members in select counties in Utah.
Regence offers ACA/Obamacare individual/family plans and small group plans. Individual/family plans are all offered both through the ACA Federal Marketplace and direct from Regence (Off exchange).
Regence Plan Benefits
Individual Plans:
On the Regence Individual and Family Health Plans page you will find general information about Regence individual and family plans offered in Utah.

Small Group Plans:
On the Regence Small Group Plans (1-50 Employees) website you will find detailed information on all small group health plans offered directly by Regence in Utah.
This includes the following:
- Benefit guides and plan brochures for ALL small group health, dental and vision plans
- Plan Features for all plans
- Resources – Including Enrollment Forms for all small group health plans.
Regence Provider Networks
To find a provider in the appropriate network in your area go to the Regence Find a Doctor Tool.
Find a doctor makes it easy to:
- Search by name, specialty or condition
- Compare providers, review quality information and read reviews of doctors
- Get driving directions and provider contact information
Regence members can sign in to their account and search directly. Otherwise, everyone can search by using the quick search without signing in.
To begin a search, select the proper network(s) by clicking the link next to “YOUR NETWORK” in the top right corner. This will open a window. Click the button to find your network. Then click the link that says “Browse a list of networks.” From here you can select the medical, dental and/or vision network that applies to you.
You will note that there are multiple networks depending on whether you have an individual/family plan, group plan or Medicare plan.
Regence Prescription Coverage and Formulary Information
To learn more about prescription drug coverage on all Regence health plans go to their Pharmacy page.
If you’re a Regence member, sign in to your member account. There You will get information specific to your plan, such as:
- Covered drug list (formulary) and estimated out-of-pocket costs
- Pharmacies in your network
- Home delivery options

Advice24 Nurse Line (Not available on all plans)
Regence Advice24 is a toll-free, 24/7 nurse line that provides immediate support for everyday health issues and questions that otherwise might lead to unnecessary doctor or emergency room visits. It also can serve as an early warning system to flag health conditions before they become serious.
Virtual care
Every medical plan comes with virtual care options. Video or phone consultations with an MDLIVE physician are available any time.
Regence Treatment Cost Estimator:
Regence members can use their Cost Estimator to compare prices of hospital stays, MRIs, surgeries, X-rays and more. The Cost Estimator gives you estimates based on your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.
The Regence mobile app
Regence offers a mobile app that enables members to find their health plan information, or search for a doctor at any time. You can download the app for iPhones on the Apple App Store and Android phones on Google Play.
